Sreesanth: Trapped in the jinx of number 13.

On 13th September 2013, life-ban was imposed on fast bowler S. Sreesanth, who was accused of Spot fixing in IPL 7. Going through the important incidents that took place in the whole spot-fixing incident, I got amazed by the role of 13(4).

Sreesanth’s DOB is 06-Feb-1983, hence his lucky number is 6 and destiny number is 2, and this combination of venus and moon drags him towards field of art apart from his mainstream career. Here we are not going to talk about number 6’s and 2’s significance in his acting and dance skills but the significance of number 4 (4, 13 and 31) in this incident, which played an important part in his life.

Following are some interesting events of this incident, showing number 4’s significance in the whole incidence.

On 6th-Feb-2013, Sreesanth entered in his life’s 31th year, which adds on number 4.

He bowled 130(4) balls in IPL 2013, ending his IPL career with 40(4) wickets.

He was offered bribe of 40 Lacks (4) for conceding 13 runs (4) in his over.

Another interesting fact is related to his jersey number, normally Sreesanth uses 36(9) number jersey as he is ruled by number 6 and 36 is favourable number for number 6 ruled people but in this IPL in some of the matches he used number 13(4) jersey.

And at the end the verdict came on 13th September 2013, again 13 and 4.

Let’s see what further impact number 4 leaves in Sreesanth’s life.
